Outdoor Courts Closed for the Season - Scheduled to Reopen March 1, 2013:

Attire/Footwear

 

  • White rubber soled tennis shoes (Must be tennis specific)
  • Black colored tennis specific shoes
  • Clothing conducive to active movement

Prohibited Items

  • Non-tennis specific shoes (Black soled non-tennis shoes)
  • Running shoes
  • Glass containers
  • Gum Candy
  • Bicycles Skateboards
  • Roller blades
  • Any other non-tennis equipment or activity

Description

Epple Park and  Mizzou Tennis Complex features six premium outdoor tennis courts, a large pavilion area with picnic tables and minimal green space for outdoor activites.  Conveniently located next to Reactor Field, this park also provides access to the Mizzou Recreation Trail.

Features


  • All participants must be a member of the Student Recreation Complex or Green Tennis Center to access the outdoor facilities.

  • For use of indoor courts and court reservations, participants must check-in at the Green Tennis Center.  For use of outdoor courts participants must check-in at the hut located at the South East entrance to the courts.  The courts are reserved for one hour and can be reserved within a 24 hour period. 

  • For your convenience all four courts are lighted for evening activities--weather permitting.


Mizzou Tennis Complex


Rec Services and the students help to fund approximately 1/3 of the total cost of the Mizzou Tennis Complex. Second priority is thus given to the Club team behind the Mizzou Tennis Team. The Tennis Club holds 2 tournaments and has regular weekly practices. The tournaments normally use all 6 courts whereas practice is allotted 3 courts. These tournaments and practices must not conflict with Mizzou Tennis Team matches or practices.
