CONGRATS TO THE MIZZOU SHOOTING CLUB!
About Our Club:
The University of Missouri Shooting Team is a club team that is competitive in shotgun shooting events. These events range from sanctioned college tournaments to the Olympic selection matches. The MU shooting team is nationally ranked and competes against universities whom recruit and give scholarships for this sport.
The MU shooting team has members that range from recreational shooters to Olympic team members. The team is very dedicated in improving its scores and competing year round. During the school year the team members practice 2 to 3 days a week.
Club History:
The Mizzou shooting team was reformed in 2002 by two incoming students Tyler Schwab and Travis Dye. Both had a competitive shooting background, and thought a shotgun team would be appealing to many students. With the help of Cedar Creek Rod and Gun Club owners Ralph and Mary Ann Gates the team had a base to start from, and a practice facility. Since 2002 when the team finished 8th at the collegiate championships, the team has finished no worse than sixth over the past nine years. - Contact Information
