Free Orientation

Fitness Center Orientation
This one-hour session allows members to work one-on-one with a nationally certified Personal Trainer to assess personalized adjustments and weight settings for each piece of equipment in the fitness center. Proper form and technique will also be taught to ensure user safety and effectiveness while utilizing equipment. Personalized strength training programs are not included in this orientation.

With the opening of the new Tiger Training suite, Mizzou Tiger Training is better prepared than ever to help you accomplish your fitness goals.

Tiger Training has many benefits that will help make you a healthier person with a longer life expectancy. Your Personal Trainer will show you one-on-one how to lose weight and lower your body-fat percentage.

Tiger Training has ACE nationally certified Personal Trainers who can develop an exercise program specifically for you. From the novice to the elite athlete, our trainers have the knowledge and skill to work with you to achieve your personal health and fitness goals. A trainer acts as an expert guide and consultant, assisting clients to achieve individually selected fitness goals. He or she does this by teaching the client how to perform the exercises correctly and effectively. Personal Trainers design and vary training programs while giving clients the knowledge and tools to eventually develop a personalized program that can be modified and followed throughout life.

Personal Fitness Assessment

A Personal Fitness Assessment is the first step in beginning Personal Training. During an hour-long session, you and your trainer will establish fitness goals and attain baseline measurements to assist in your program design.

Tiger Training helps improve muscle balance, decreasing the likelihood of injury. Working with a trainer will help you to improve aerobic capacity along with muscular strength and endurance. Tiger Training clients see results in the form of increased muscularity and definition.
