Promoting a sense of ownership and pride, Team Mizzou gives students tools and training for a lifetime of success, both personally and professionally.
Team Mizzou is an innovative student development and employment program in the Department of Rec Services & Facilities. The goal of the program is to prepare student staff members for lifelong success and excellence.
MU students hold front line positions in all departments of MizzouRec. From facility supervisors to assistant managers, students take an active leadership role in MizzouRec's six different program areas including Aquatics, TigerX, Lifetime Health and Performance, Facilities, Personal Training, and Rec Sports.
Team members are dedicated to guaranteeing excellence in Rec programs and services. High expectations and an instructional approach to service are what distinguish Team Mizzou members on campus and in the local community.
Team Mizzou strives to promote a sense of ownership and pride, not only professionally, but personally as well. MizzouRec takes pride in hiring outgoing, assertive individuals who are seeking an enriching and challenging employment experience.
There are many benefits Rec Center employees gain and use as tools in training. Skills learned in classes such as CPR and First Aid Certification are not only used on the job, but also make for lifetime learning.
To be eligible for Team Mizzou, you must be a current MU student and attend one of the many recruitment sessions that are held each semester.
