About Our Facilities

The MU Student Rec Complex is a unique, award-winning blend of campus history and modern innovation. While the new construction has just reached its decade milestone, the facilities continue to improve and evolve to meet the growing needs of the student population. The Jungle Gym boasts a full line of Nautilus Inspiration equipment and a Cardio Gallery of over 100 pieces of cardio equipment. Additionally, the MizzouRec Fitness Showcase is the official collegiate test site for several top fitness equipment brands, allowing Mizzou students the amazing opportunity to be the first to try new equipment. The Pump Room offers an intense workout space with dumbbells up to 150 pounds and fixed-weight barbells up to 200 pounds.

In Downtown Brewer, a row of converted racquetball courts transformed into wellness spaces with a boutique, street-like feel, you’ll find zouLIFE, which offers an array of fitness services, athletic training, and personal training in a private suite for clients.

Next door are conjoined spaces, Clark’s Boxing Gym and Stalcup’s Garage, which are delivering stellar programming and equipment to the already strong lineup at the Rec. Clark’s Boxing Gym is the first college campus installation of its kind, featuring the BoxMaster® by Star Trac, and Stalcup’s Garage is a functional training space that promotes a practical and comprehensive approach to fitness. The facility also features 10 hardwood sport-courts, including those in Historic Brewer Fieldhouse where the Mizzou Wheelchair Basketball team hosted the 2016 National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament and placed 4th in the competition.

The Mizzou Aquatic Center has been one of the premier aquatics facilities in the country since its opening in 2005. Home to the 50M Pool, Diving Well, Tiger Grotto and Truman’s Pond, this state-of-the-art aquatic facility has plenty of room for recreation, leisure and competition.

Outdoor spaces at the MU Student Rec Complex include Stankowski Complex, which boasts three synthetic turf fields, a 1/3-mile track and four sand volleyball courts. Off-site offerings include the Mizzou Tennis Complex, two large sports fields that serve as practice and competition spaces for club teams, and the MU Rec Trail, a 1.5-mile route that provides access to other bicycle and pedestrian trails around the city.
